    Description

    Purchase is for the set of two disks.  These disks when spaced 1/8 to ¼ apart will transfer torque from one to the other.  The closer the spacing, the greater the torque.  They can be used to transfer torque through aluminum, plastics, and stainless steel, any non magnetic.  Chambers and vessels can be under vacuum or pressure and mechanisms or product can be rotated through the chamber wall.  We measured the break- away torque through a ¼ “ plastic wall to be 5-9 in.lb.  As a driver, these can also be used as a clutch when torque exceeds the amount it will deliver.  This is of course adjustable with the spacing.  These are new components.  The Disk is 2.75" diameter and the drive shaft is 0.500" diameter.
