This is a vintage RF-505 from RF Communications Inc., Rochester N.Y.  I have confirmed Rx in all modes LSB, USB, ISB, AM, CW (see below about CW).  The audio from the internal speaker is exceptional and all lights and meters are working.  That is the extent of any testing.  I did not go through the entire radio and did not test any of the auxiliary connections on the back panel.  There are NO power cords included with this sale.  The receiver was tested with an external DC supply only, AC power was not tested.  This sale also includes the original User/Service Manual that is very extensive with fold-out schematics, alignment procedures and pretty much every aspect of the radio.  The are a few issues that I've listed below.
RF-505 KNOWN ISSUES:
1.) There is a continual faint high pitch coming from the power supply when running (not real loud, but very noticeable ).
2.) This receiver does not have the optional CW filter installed. CW is received on LSB, USB or ISB.
3.) There is a small bit of de-lamination of the face plate on the top right corner (see photos).
4.) The brown marks on the face plate do seem to come off. I don't know what it is but when carefully scraped, it does flake off. A chemical may even dissolve it. I will leave that cleaning to the new owner.
